I consider my current
work as an open project, which grows parallel to an everyday creative
activity and is based on lived experience.
I like to study the intimate relationships between couples, friends, and family. These microcosoms that function independently and separately from each other, and consequently are seen differently from how they function. Moreover, I am interested in how our own personalities are molded based on these relationships, and how different facets of our personality develop in response to the company we keep.

Moreover, I am interested in how our own personalities are molded based on these relationships, and how different facets of our personality develop in response to the company we keep.
I am also very interested in our
idea of identity and our obsessions, especially in the midst of the
ongoing technological/information revolution, where new platforms for
communication have been created. How the advent of social networking has
allowed us to reinvent ourselves. How we can create a character, not
necessarily based on our image, but based on our idea of how we want
ourselves to appear.
Another
phenomenon I am drawn to is the "media-tization" of ourselves, and how
this custom is becoming more and more ingrained in our culture. How the
line separating our public and private lives is becoming less and less
evident, and how at times these two aspects of our lives have started to
overlap; consequently negating our need for introspection, redefining
our identity yet again.
Intimacy is an important part of who we are, but nowadays, we apparently must show it to confirm we exist.
From this standpoint, I cast
myself as the protagonist and present another "real" case of need for
hearing. In the same manner, and with a twist of irony, I place myself
into this world of celebrity and fame, searching for my own myth.
Through my images, I write my autobiography, playing with stereotypes,
symbolism, glamour and anti-glamour.
